A training programme for teachers titled Happy Classrooms was held in our school.
The agenda of the workshop was a discussion on emotional quotient (for which self-awareness is very important), strategies for self-regulation, understanding relations and decoding language gestures. The session was conducted using various audio visuals which kept the teachers actively engaged in the workshop. She motivated teachers to invest in their relationships with their colleagues as well as their students. The session also gave an insight into reasons for misbehaviour among students and adopting ways as a teacher to react in such situations by understanding 'why' children act the way they do.
The workshop was indeed an inspiring reminder for all the participant educators to enthusiastically strive to create a happy classroom and make learning a fun-filled experience for the students and teachers alike. It was informative and enlightening as it taught the important concept of incorporating happiness and emotions in the class.
